SKEWVILLE'S 80TH BIRTHDAY

Nuart New York is established! Expect to see a few posts over the coming months on what's going down in the big apple. Marte Jolbø, the erstwhile Nuart co-ordinator and co-editor of our tome Eloquent Vandals, has landed in Brooklyn and will be bringing you news and views on the local wildlife. First up is a couple of strange creatures she discovered on Friday.

We flew over to attend the Skewville twins' 80th birthday Retro Retrospective and to give them our book Eloquent Vandals. A whole Friday night of art, fun, music and good people. The twins had dug up all their old treasures - showcasing the original giant "Hype" sign as well as the "Lawnmower Stamper" that prints out "Keep on Grass", along with incredible amounts of other work. A must-see if in New York, the show is on until March 11 at Factory Fresh.
