Study for "Pale Memory" 45 x 34cm
"This is a very small painting, just 45cm * 34cm. I painted at this scale because it was also acting as a proof of concept, I wanted to make sure I could paint this sort of thing before I expanded it into larger paintings".
Now you all know that we're big fans of existential cosmonaut painter Jeremy Geddes, but this is something else, not exactly a break from his usual occupations, more a merging of the ones we like in one single composition.. the fragility of the human body, urban environments, floating in space, vacuum and that weird existential sci fi feel..Can't wait to see the whole body of work being produced for the show at Jonathan Levine Gallery next October.
